Walking Stick Introduces Upgrades to Its CMS, siteMpower
New Tools Include Search Engine Optimization and E-Mail Builder
February 10, 2004 (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio): Walking Stick recently released several upgrades to its web site content management tool, siteMpower. In an effort to provide continued improvements to this powerful tool, the Cuyahoga Falls-based web solutions firm focused its efforts on using siteMpower as a targeted marketing tool.
siteMpower is one of the first content management systems (CMS) to include functional search engine optimization capabilities. The upgraded interface enables users to easily optimize pages for search engines using meta tags, meta keywords, and alt tags or photo descriptions. Because web sites using content management generate dynamic URLs, in the past search engines have had trouble reading or have intentionally passed over these sites. Although the engines are improving their ability to view these dynamic URLs, siteMpower now offers a tool to avoid these issues. (More on sMp SEO)
The new set of content management features also includes a simple e-mail builder tool. siteMpower uses the functionality to creating a page via content management and applies that same logic to develop graphic HTML e-mails. Not only can users create graphic e-mails, but they are also empowered to manage their database through the siteMpower content management interface.
As always, siteMpower is a web-based content management system, offering easy access and user-friendly interfaces. Walking Stick will continue to upgrade this already powerful system. There are many content management tools out there, but few are as simple and easy to use as siteMpower.
